HEXA JAM

Objective

Tap hexagons to move them in the direction of their arrows. Clear the board by sending each hexagon out of the map in the correct order. Plan your moves carefully to avoid blocking paths and achieve the highest score.

Setup

  • The board is filled with colored hexagons, each showing an arrow direction.
  • Tapping a hexagon makes it move in the arrow’s direction until it stops or leaves the board.
  • A session timer counts down from the start of the game.
  • The goal is to reach the highest possible score before time runs out.

Gameplay

Moving Hexagons

  • Tap a hexagon to make it move along its arrow direction.
  • If the path is clear, the hexagon continues moving until it:
  • Leaves the board, or
  • Collides with another hexagon or special grid.

Special Grid Types

Fractured Grid

  • A cracked cell that breaks only if the hexagon passing over it successfully leaves the board.
  • Once broken, the cell becomes empty.

Rotate Grid

  • When a hexagon moves over this cell, its arrow direction rotates automatically.

Stop Grid

  • Stops the moving hexagon on that cell.
  • The hexagon stays there until another move affects it.

Chain Reactions

  • Moving one hexagon may open paths for others.
  • Think ahead to create sequences that allow multiple hexagons to leave the board in fewer moves.

Session Flow

  • After each merge, new tiles appear to refill the board.
  • The game continues until the timer reaches zero.

Boosters

Multiplier Booster

  • Every hexagon that successfully leaves the board adds progress to your multiplier bar.
  • Making a wrong or blocked move resets the multiplier to ×1.

Scoring

Your total score consists of:

Tile Escaped Score

Points earned for each hexagon that successfully leaves the board.

Wrong Move

Moves that fail to clear any hexagon reduce your score.

Multiplier Score

Consecutive clears increase your multiplier and total score.

Time Bonus Score

Finishing the level quickly adds extra time-based bonus points.

Winning

You win the level when all hexagons have left the board. Your final score is calculated from:

  • Tile Escaped Score
  • Wrong Move
  • Multiplier Score
  • Time Bonus Score
