Jigsaw Puzzle
Objective
The goal of Jigsaw Puzzle is to complete the image by connecting all puzzle pieces in their correct
positions. Manage your moves efficiently to group the pieces and assemble the puzzle before the time runs
out to achieve the highest score.
Setup
- Playfield: A grid containing scrambled puzzle pieces that can be dragged, shifted, and
merged.
- Timer: A session timer counts down from the start of the game.
Gameplay
Dragging and Dropping
- Tap and drag a puzzle piece (or a connected group of pieces) to move it to a new position on the grid.
- Releasing the piece or group on a valid cell places it in that position.
Group Formation
- Placing adjacent pieces in their correct relative positions connects them.
- Once connected, they merge into a Jigsaw Group. Dragging any piece within the group moves the entire
group as a single unit.
Piece Shifting & Swapping
- Dropping a piece or group onto occupied cells shifts or swaps the existing pieces to accommodate the
move.
- Larger groups have movement priority and can push smaller groups or individual pieces aside when
dropped.
Scoring
Your total score is calculated based on:
Completion Score
- Points are awarded based on the percentage of correct connections formed between adjacent pieces on the
board.
Time Bonus
- Completing the puzzle quickly grants a substantial bonus based on the remaining time.
Level Completion
The game ends when:
- Victory: All pieces have been successfully connected to form the completed image.
- Defeat (Time's Up): The timer reaches zero before the entire puzzle has been assembled.
