MATCH3 PUZZLE

Objective

The goal is to complete the level goals by matching tiles, clearing obstacles, and collecting required items before the session time runs out. Create powerful boosters and use them strategically to finish the level faster and score higher.

Setup

Each level starts with a unique board layout and specific goals to complete.

  • A session timer counts down from the start of the game.
  • Each level has a limited number of moves to complete the goals.
  • The target is to complete the level goals quickly and with as few moves as possible, before time runs out.

Gameplay

Matching Tiles

  • Swap two adjacent tiles to create a match of three or more identical tiles.
  • Matching tiles clears them from the board, damages nearby obstacles, and new tiles fall from above.
  • Multiple matches can happen at the same time in different areas of the board.

Level Goals

  • Each level has specific objectives such as collecting items or clearing obstacles.
  • Completing all goals finishes the level.

Obstacles

Eggs

  • Eggs take damage when matches are made next to them, and boosters can also damage eggs.

Owls

  • Owls cannot be matched or damaged directly.
  • Clear the tiles beneath them to bring them down.
  • Once an owl reaches the bottom of the board, it flies away and is collected.

Boosters

Boosters can be created by making larger matches or triggered directly on the board.

  • Rocket: Clears tiles in a straight line.
  • Bomb (TNT): Explodes and clears tiles in a 5×5 area.
  • Propeller: Flies to a target tile or objective and clears it. When activated, it also damages tiles and obstacles in a plus-shaped area around it.
  • Light Ball: Clears all tiles of the selected color.

Boosters can be activated by tapping them or swapping them with nearby tiles. Combining boosters creates stronger effects.

Scoring

Your total score consists of:

Item Matched Score

Points are awarded based on the number of tiles matched.

Booster Created Score

Creating boosters through matches grants additional points.

Goal Collected Score

Collecting required goal items gives score.

Moves Left Bonus

Remaining moves are converted into bonus points when the level is completed.

Time Bonus Score

Finishing the level quickly adds extra time-based bonus points.

Winning

Complete all level goals before running out of moves or time runs out.
