Word Link

Objective

The goal of Word Link is to complete the crossword by linking letters into words. Find every hidden word before the time runs out, and catch extra Bonus Words along the way to achieve the highest score.

Setup

• Letter Wheel: A circle of letters at the bottom of the screen.
• Crossword: A grid of empty spaces at the top for the words you need to find.
• Bonus Button: Collects the Bonus Words you find.
• Shuffle Button: Mixes up the letters in the wheel.
• Timer: A session timer counts down from the start of the game.

Gameplay

Making Words

• Swipe across the letters in the wheel to make a word, then lift your finger to submit it.
• Words must be at least 3 letters long. Each letter can be used once per word.
• Swipe back to the previous letter to remove the last one.

Crossword Words

• A word that fits the crossword fills its spaces.
• If all letters of a word are already revealed by other words, it counts as found.

Bonus Words

• Valid words that are not in the crossword count as Bonus Words.
• Tap the Bonus button to see the Bonus Words you have found.

Shuffle

• Tap Shuffle to rearrange the letters as often as you like. It is free.

Scoring

Your score is influenced by four main factors:

Word Score

• Points are awarded for every crossword word you find, no matter how long it is.

Bonus Word Score

• Extra points are awarded for every Bonus Word you find.

Multiplier Bonus

• Finding words quickly fills your multiplier bar, up to x5, awarding more points for each crossword word. The bar slowly drains over time.

Time Bonus

• Completing the crossword grants a bonus based on the remaining time on the clock.

Level Completion

• Victory: Every word in the crossword has been found.
• Time's Up: The timer reaches zero before the crossword is complete.
