Word Search

Objective

The goal of Word Search is to find every word on the list hidden in the letter grid. Spot the words fast, catch extra Bonus Words along the way, and finish the list before the time runs out to achieve the highest score.

Setup

• Word List: The category name and the words you need to find, shown at the top.
• Letter Grid: A grid of letters where the words are hidden.
• Star Button: Collects the Bonus Words you find.
• Timer: A session timer counts down from the start of the game.

Gameplay

Selecting Words

• Press on a letter and drag in a straight line: across, down or diagonally.
• Lift your finger to submit your selection. Words must be at least 3 letters long.

Finding List Words

• Words on the list can be found forwards or backwards.
• Found words are highlighted on the grid and marked on the list.

Bonus Words

• Valid words in the grid that are not on the list count as Bonus Words.
• Tap the star to see the Bonus Words you have found.

Scoring

Your score is influenced by four main factors:

Word Score

• Points are awarded for every word on the list you find, no matter how long it is.

Bonus Word Score

• Extra points are awarded for every Bonus Word you find.

Multiplier Bonus

• Finding words quickly fills your multiplier bar, up to x5, awarding more points for each list word. The bar slowly drains over time.

Time Bonus

• Finding every word on the list grants a bonus based on the remaining time on the clock.

Level Completion

• Victory: Every word on the list has been found.
• Time's Up: The timer reaches zero before the list is complete.
